topherchris: One week ago, a school board in Missouri voted 4-0 to ban two books, one of them Vonnegut’s Slaughterhouse-Five. The vote came in response to a complaint lodged by a resident who homeschools his children.
This is one of the most depressing things I’ve heard from the lit world in a while. I can’t get over it.
